Avoid applying cosmeceutical grade products (AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C, Retinol).

Avoid sun exposure, strenuous exercise, hot yoga, swimming, extreme heat/cold (hot showers, saunas, ice baths),
alcohol, smoking, any peels, and professional laser/energy-based treatments.

Ultherapy PRIME® is a completely outpatient procedure. You don’t need hospital admission or an overnight stay. After the treatment, most patients can return to their normal activities right away.

The duration depends on the treatment area, but typically it can take 30–45 minutes.

No significant downtime is required. Some patients may experience mild redness, tingling, or slight swelling, but these effects usually resolve quickly.

Ultherapy PRIME® is generally well-tolerated and does not require general anesthesia. Most clients manage comfortably with the built-in cooling and ultrasound technology.

For sensitive clients, a mild oral pain reliever such as ibuprofen may be recommended 2–3 hours before the treatment to reduce discomfort. Your practitioner will guide you on whether this is needed based on your comfort level.

The effects of Ultherapy PRIME® can last between 1 to 2 years, depending on your skin’s natural aging process and lifestyle factors. Many clients choose to have maintenance sessions every 12–18 months to prolong their results.
